Heaven - Posted on May 24, 2010I saw this movie a few months ago in Tallahassee, FL with the girls at my youth group. There were only about five minutes i wasn't crying in the whole movie because of how much it hit home. I used to be like the kids that cut and looked for ways out, then one day, someone gave me a chance. I am ashamed to say that I fell away from God and into trends of making fun of the other kids. Then I saw this movie and it reminded me of the past i tried so hard to forget. It reminded me that God let me go through that so that I could come out stronger and help others. It's safe to say that because of this movie, I have been there to talk to and accept the kids who were exactly like me when nobody else would.

Serena - Posted on May 24, 2010When I went to see this movie, I had no idea what it was about or anything. All I knew was that a big group from our church was going (61 people to be exact) and I wanted to join. This movie really makes you think. It was a real eye-opener for me. Right after I saw it I wanted to go and change as many lives as a could! It really made me think about my classmates. It was definitely the best movie I saw in a while!

Anonymous - Posted on May 24, 2010I absolutly love this movie it has seriously changed my whole life around.
When i was in the third grade i was picked on constantly. I was the loner in my class. No one would talk to me at school and my parents kept fighting at home. I pretty much gave up all hope for god, and that he loved me. I blamed myself for these things that were happening and became depressed. Once I got to middle school I made a few friends but all of my "friends" were not the type I should have been friends with. In 8th grade I started cutting. The cutting continued and a week before I saw To Save A LIfe I almost tried to commit suicide. This movie might of actually save my life if I never saw it i have no idea where i would be today. |

K.P. - Posted on May 24, 2010This movie changed my outlook on people. We all hurt and we all need love. It reminded me of when I was new in town and I felt so lonely. It also made me realize what I might want to do in the near future. This movie sends out so many messages that we all can relate to and live by.

Lacey Gayle Reynolds - Posted on May 24, 2010this movie made me realize alot of things. for one; love myself even if others dont love me, love others even though they dont love me, and love God even though i may think he isnt listening. i dint growup in a home filled with God, but i did growup in a community where he was talked about on a pretty regular basis. lets just say i dont exactly have the most amazing home, but i have a group of amazing friends who are all faithful. some more than others, and thats okay. this movie made me open up, and not be afraid to take a chance with my beliefs and not be afraid to get laughed at for it. i try to help others, but sometimes it doesnt really workout because i'm not too good at being compasionit. i hope all of ya'll are better at this than i am. i'm still working on it. before i can help others i have to help myself though. pray for me.

Tiffany - Posted on May 24, 2010I once thought about committing suicide. It may seem like a surprise to my friends because I was happy-to them. But inside I felt alone. I go to church but still I would feel alone. However I began to pray everyday, no matter what. Sometimes praying everyday is hard to do, but it is worth it. By talking to God, it saved my life. This movie proves that God can save lives, and a hug or smile makes a difference.

Iman - Posted on May 21, 2010i am a muslim convert to Christianity. I remember when i watched this movie. I used to cut myself a lot and i attempted suicide. I felt an eternal pain and hunger. In two days i am getting baptized now. The day i started believing in Christ was a while ago. I had been desperate for some kind of peace in my life, and one day i just couldn't take all the chaos building up inside of me, The night before i couldn't bear anything, i spread my arms out in the air and shouted "God, could you just let me feel peace. Let me feel it all the time" and he answered my plea. The next day i felt horrible but then an hour before i was going to kill myself, my friend called me and invited me to her church, from that moment on i became a believer and really witnessed the power of Christ

Shiane Renae. - Posted on May 21, 2010I felt most identified to the position of Jake in this movie. This movie touched me deeply and has resparked a fire in my heart, I want to bring others to Christ to further his kingdom. Being popular or parties shouldnt and doesnt matter, it is God who matters!!! and it his he who saves!! I see people in my school being picked on or left out and I pray that I will continue to include them and show them the Love of God. Lately the size of my youth group has increased and I praise God for that. I highly recommend watching this movie and I pray that you are touched as much as I was.

Cody Zulfer - Posted on May 20, 2010HI, im Cody. Im 16 and to the day I have moved over 25 times since i was 3. I have been homeless or without a place to call my home 3 times. I currently live with my mom and my stepdad in a 1 bedroom efficacy apartment. So you can pretty much say I havent had to easy of a life. Most go through a depression in my situation but i aspired to come up through all of that and try and live my life as if i was just a normal kid. I've been having trouble lately though to keep a smile on my face. That was until i this movie. This movie helped me remember that my strength and courage to keep smiling through my situation could be giving hope and bringing happiness to weaker one around me. Since seeing this movie even people i dont like i treat with kindness and respect. I thank you for making this movie and helping me through.
